Educational Director - Petra Clarke

MSc Health & Social Care. Specialist Practitioner (A33 Developing Autonomous Practice), Petra is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner as well as Senior Lecturer and programme leader in Non-Medical Prescribing.  Her specialisation being the teaching of clinical skills to health care professionals. As a Registered Specialist Nurse (A51 general Practice), her focus has been primarily in Primary Care.  Petra is also a qualified Independent and Supplementary nurse prescriber.  She has taught extensively within the pharmaceutical industry, primary and secondary care settings.  Areas of expertise include asthma, minor illness and injuries, law and ethics, consultation and the decision-making process, psychology of prescribing and public health.

 
 

Clinical Director - Mel McFeeters

MA Advancing Nursing Practice - Specialist Practitioner (A33 Developing Autonomous Practice), RGN. RSCN.  Mel has worked extensively in the field of respiratory nursing and has a wealth of knowledge in both adult and paediatric sectors of practice and currently holds the position of Consultant Nurse - Children’s Respiratory Care.  Mel also has experience as a Regional Nurse Advisor, and as an advanced Nurse Practitioner utilising her qualification in Independent and Supplementary prescribing.  With a long history of teaching Mel has recently held lecturing positions in Respiratory care, Prescribing and Pathophysiology.  Other areas of expertise include minor ailments and illness, smoking cessation, general paediatrics and allergies.

 
 

Commercial Development and Commercial Director - Ray Williams

Ray is a senior international strategic organisation consultant - Originally qualified as a lawyer he has led and managed the strategic reorganisation and transformation of major corporations as well as practice based small/medium enterprises.   He has been an agent of change through strategic and business process outsourcing, corporate restructuring and business development. He has worked on the NHS IT programme and is knowledgeable of the impact of the changes required in practice management. He has designed, led and managed diverse training programmes including overcoming end user resistance to change.  He has worked extensively in IT and business/practice integration including off shoring of professional front and back office support and medical records retention and management.
